Around 1,600 members of the Tricycle Operators and Drivers Association (TODA) in Sta. Ana, Pampanga benefited from cash assistance provided by the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD).
Each recipient received ₱5,000 under the Assistance to Individuals in Crisis Situation (AICS) Program, as the transport sector was heavily affected by the fuel crisis.

It can be recalled that only around 70 tricycle drivers were initially listed as beneficiaries by the Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office (MSWD). Because of this, Mayor Dinan Labung opened the municipal government’s assistance to help TODA members complete their required documents to become registered and secure franchise permits.
The mayor also met with DSWD Regional Director Venus F. Rebuldela to ensure a proper system and faster release of the said assistance.

This initiative paved the way for more drivers to benefit from government aid.
For those who were not included due to documentation issues, Mayor Labung assured that immediate action will be taken to address their concerns.
