A stronger and more progressive economy for Sta. Ana is the goal of the 10-Year Economic Development Master Plan and the Local Investment and Incentives Code of 2026, which were approved by the Local Investments and Incentives Board (LIIB) on Wednesday, April 15.

Mayor Dinan Labung led the meeting where the said plans were formally approved. According to officials, these initiatives are designed to promote investments, encourage investors, and create more job opportunities for the people of Sta. Ana.

Members of the Sangguniang Bayan attended the meeting, along with Rene Romero and Joyce Duldulao of the Pampanga Business Circle, who provided valuable recommendations to further strengthen investment and trade in Sta. Ana.

According to the local government, the Economic Development Master Plan will serve as the long-term roadmap for the municipality’s development over the next ten years. Meanwhile, the Local Investment and Incentives Code of 2026 contains policies and incentives aimed at attracting businesses and boosting investor confidence.

Both plans will still undergo public hearings and approval by the Sangguniang Bayan to ensure thorough review and public participation before full implementation.

Bacolor Mayor Diman Datu, who also attended the meeting, shared valuable insights to help guide the continued economic growth of the municipality.

Mayor Labung likewise expressed his gratitude to Romero and Datu for their continued support and contributions in advancing the progress and development of Sta. Ana.
